Day 7

Day 7

Linds and I woke up for a 6:30 am run this morning. Our plan was to go a slower pace and maybe not as far today just to get a break. We ended up taking a different route to run to change things up. After a good 45 minutes we wondered where the road was that we needed to turn around on. Some streets didn't have signs so we kept going. We eventually turned around and came back home only to find that instead of a shorter run we ran a about of 5 miles. So it ended up been a good work out this morning. 

After skype, a warm shower, and breakfast we were  

Off to the foreign stores and market!! 

Phil got to carry Olivet today! She loves her Uncle Phil!

Auntie's Shop- cheapest foreign goods shop around town.
 Phil bought a Dr. Pepper, and the girls got Air heads,
and Linds got whip cream. 

Cereal: 37 yuan = $6.00

Marshmallows: 17 yuan = $2.70
Mac-n-cheese: 10 yuan = $1.60

Pasta Sides and Progresso: 18 Yuan = $3.00

The Wicker Basket is a foreign shop as well.
It has foreign goods, a lunch menu, breads, meats, etc.
Phil bought pizza bread rolls.
In that area there is also a Deaf Ministry where they have a shop
to buy wood work, purses, dolls, etc.
 I bought a purse.

Fresh fish

More meat! 

Oh.. Yumm. Really good doughy rolls that have onions and meat inside.
We all ate one then went back and bought more.  They make it fresh right there.

They kill it, skin it, and put it in a bag for you.

Eggs. They look like the birds laid them right there on that nest. 

We bought rice. 

More pastries!

We ended up buying Pastries, Rice, Eggs, and Peaches.
I might go eat one of my peaches right now.. 

Vivy found me at my window from her room! 

She was so excited she ran and got Dassah too!
